Annette LeMay Burke embarked on a series of roadtrips throughout the American West documenting the proliferation and variety of disguised cell phone towers. She examines the question: how much of an ersatz landscape and manufactured nature are we willing to accept in exchange for connectivity? Published by Daylight Books in May 2021, Burke's images of the western landscapes are beautifully rendered. Ann M. Jasrab, Executive Director of Center for Photographic Art in Carmel, California, contributed the forward.
